Blended seamlessly into the fragile ecosystem of the Vembanad backwaters, The Grand Heritage Eco Resort is an architectural homage to regional heritage construction executed with modern environmental rigor.
Built over soft alluvial silt, each pavilion rests upon specialized helical screw-pile foundations that preserved the wetland hydro-ecology with zero dredging damage.
The project utilized over 60,000 blocks of locally sourced dressing laterite stone, seasoned timber salvaged from old aristocratic estates, and natural lime mortars, creating a carbon-negative architectural masterpiece.
