ENDURE.
NH Bypass, Trivandrum, Kerala · 2024
The Trinity Speciality Medical Centre required the most stringent civil and MEP engineering tolerances. Constructed to international hospital accreditation standards (NABH/JCI), the facility houses 8 modular laminar airflow operation theatres, intensive care pavilions, and advanced diagnostic imaging centers.
Critical civil engineering achievements included the construction of monolithic barytes-concrete radiation shielding vaults for linear accelerators with walls exceeding 1.8 meters in thickness, executed with zero thermal cracking.
All critical diagnostic equipment floors were structurally decoupled with vibration-attenuation elastomeric bearings to safeguard ultra-sensitive MRI and robotic surgical devices.
Scope of Work
- 01 Radiation-shielded bunker construction utilizing high-density barytes concrete
- 02 Structural floor vibration isolation for microscopic and robotic surgery suites
- 03 Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS) with automated sensor manifold controls
- 04 Cleanroom HEPA filtration HVAC systems with positive/negative pressure cascades
- 05 Dual 100% backup diesel generator power infrastructure with uninterruptible UPS
Key Engineering Facts
